Planning a Program

The CRP Program can meet many goals of landowners. Converting conventional farmland to CRP can be a complicated process. Different practices have different rental rates and cost share incentives. A successful CRP planting starts with a clean field. Practices such as site prep burning (fire) and chemical burndown (spraying) are the necessary steps to begin your planting. The next step is custom planting with a no till drill. This must be completed by July 1st.
